Chinese Engagement Photography in Manchester

A few weeks ago I headed to a Chinese Engagement Photography in Manchester with Ying-Ying & Anthony. It’s the first time I had photographed at the museum & the university building, but what a great location. Both Ying-Ying & Anthony studied at the University which made it the ideal location. Plus they both love Stan the dinosaur!

As a full-time professional Manchester wedding photographer, I love shooting in city centre wedding venues.  Creating photographs of natural non-posed moments & contemporary portraits in the city streets. As a result, I regularly shoot weddings at venues such as… The Radisson Blu Edwardian… Manchester Town Hall & Great John Street Hotel & have lots of experience shooting weddings.

My wedding photography style is a mix of informal documentary coverage, classic group shots & creative portraits that make the most of the light… the weather… plus of course your chosen wedding venue.  I’m fully insured, with a wealth of experience gained from shooting well over 150 weddings since 2009. Hiring a professional wedding photographer to capture your wedding day is super important.  Click the link to see a few reason why.

I am experienced in Chinese weddings photography in Manchester, & have an understanding of many of the cultural traditions & practices that make Chinese weddings so special. I know that each wedding is different, & that you may have chosen to include only a few elements of a traditional Chinese wedding in your big day, but rest assured that I will understand & capture these traditions for you. From the Chinese wedding door games to the tea ceremonies & gift exchanges, I will take beautiful photographs of these traditions for your wedding album. Please see further examples of my work at Chinese weddings here.

One of the things I love most about Chinese weddings is the vibrant colours, it is always a pleasure to be invited to photograph a Chinese wedding. The beautiful bright colours, the music, the laughter & the energy mean that it is always a day to remember. I specialise in fun & creative wedding photography, which means that I try to blend into the background during the reception & take photographs of your guests as though I am a fly on the wall. I keep my eyes open for special moments & beautiful scenes so that I can capture them for your wedding album. As the bride and groom, you will be pretty busy on the day itself, so it’s my job to capture the moments you might miss.

I will capture the big moments of your wedding – the vows, the tea ceremony & the first dance. But I’ll also capture so much more than that, I’ll capture the emotion & the mood of your wedding. I’ll capture those seemingly inconsequential little in between moments that make your wedding unique. The tear on your father’s cheek as he sees you in your wedding dress for the first time, the laughter on your grandma’s face as she whispers a secret to your new husband, & the laughter & enthusiasm your guests have for the day.

I’m really looking forward to Ying-Ying & Anthony’s awesome (& very large) wedding at Mottram Hall & Glamorous Restaurant soon.  If you’re planning a Chinese wedding… I’d love to be a part of it… please drop me an email here
