Natalie & Simon’s wedding day was a little bit special!!! Held at Heaton House Farm in Cheshire, the venue was simply stunning. The guests were defiantly up for a good time, with funny stories and laughter in abundance. Simon and Natalie were extremely calm throughout, enjoying every minute of their beautifully planned wedding.

The theme for the day was based around the many ski-ing trips Natalie & Simon had been on in the past. And as Simon doesn’t like wearing jewellery, they decided for his pressie he would have a new pair of ski’s instead of a ring!!

Natalie’s and the bridesmaids were dressed by Fairy Tales by Sherry, the cakes were by Sweet Tooth Cupcakery and Simon and the guys all wore traditional Manx Tartan, which looked amazing. The guests got an extra special treat when all the guys lifted their kilts to reveal the bride & grooms initials attached to their smalls!! Much to everyone’s amusement!!

Last week I met up with the very lovely Joanna & Tom whose wedding I will be covering this weekend, in the very picturesque Lymm Village, Cheshire.

Joanna had suggested Lymm Damm for the location for the engagement shoot, which I thought was a great choice:)

Its official… these guys are a million% in love!!! In love with each other and in love with their gorgeous baby boy… Alfie!!

Here are a few of my favourites from their recent engagement shoot at Walton Gardens, Warrington. Alice & Paul will be celebrating their wedding day in just a few weeks at The Lymm Hotel, a great venue choice.

E:Shoot – Gemma & Mike, Windermere Wedding Photography

Last week I met up with the very lovely Gemma & Mike whose wedding I will be covering next month at The Lowry, Salford.

Gemma had suggested Lake Windermere for the location, which I thought was a great choice:) It was actually in Bowness that the very romantic Mike popped the question to Gemma last year ♥♥, so the location was extra special!

The shoot was quite eventful… dodging tourist, almost falling in the Lake and being attached by the over friendly swans… tbh we got off lightly!!

I hadn’t seen Gemma & Mike since they first booked me in May last year so it was lovely to see them again and hear about their wedding plans – it’s going to be a fantastic day! Here are a few of the couples favourite photographs from the shoot:

Sneak peek… Bridal Garden Party at Nunsmere Hall, Cheshire

I am in love with these spring colours:) The table was a masterpiece, full to bursting with beautiful detailed crockery, scented seasonal flowers and delicious editable treats. A real feast for the senses. The team was made up of local Manchester and Cheshire based wedding suppliers, all working hard to make this shoot become a reality.

The afternoon weather was just perfect, and the shoot was a real pleasure to host. Once set-up everyone relaxed and started to enjoy themselves, with the cakes and treats being enjoyed by all of the children and adults as soon as the camera’s were down!!

We have lots more details to share with you, very excited! But for now, we hope you like this little taster…

Sneak peek…1950′s Styled Bridal Shoot at Nunsmere Hall, Cheshire

The spring has definitely arrived… so I thought as well as it being the start of wedding season for me, I’d put together a styled bridal shoot, collaborating with one of the most beautiful Cheshire wedding venue and a multitude of top Manchester and Cheshire wedding suppliers. This project started out as one shoot but ended up being two completely contrasting shoots on the same day. The second project was a vintage garden party, a sneak peek of some of the beautiful images from that shoot, to follow later on this week.

The styling for both projects includes fabulous bridal wear, inspired make-up and hair design, stunning wedding stationary, elegant cakes & amazing floristry. See links below for further information.

Henley-on-Thames Wedding – Joanna & Colin

The wedding of Joanna & Colin was indeed a fantastic affair. Held at the Rowing Club at Henley-on-Thames, it was set to be a perfect day.

Jo and Colin’s first date was exactly one year to the day of the wedding day, these guys don’t mess around! Joanna arrived in style in a white soft top porsche… Colin walked from the pub!!

Jo wore a Benjamin Roberts dress on the day, very elegant. Flowers were arranged by The White Garden in Henley,

Capturing the day with me was videographer, Rupert Ward-Lewis. He did a fantastic job the finished edit i’ll pop on my facebook page asap.

Can I just say how honoured I felt to capture their beautiful day and I also believe a big congratulations is in order, as two become three later on this year!! Fantastic news for you guys and for all of your friends and family!

This blog and my new look website has taken quite a bit of time and energy to get together, but I am sooo happy with the end results.
